![]() ![]() They have gone into people's threads and asked for DXdiags, what more do you want them to do to find the problem? I play the game fine on epic settings. Even those with super computers, but optimizations come with time and the devs have said things. The game is in early access and yes, it is a possibility people won't be able to run it. I can say this again, but you won't read it anyways. What do you want the developers to do exactly? Disect every specification and find every little problem in the matter of a few days? They aren't super scientists, nor do they owe that to anybody. Guess what that means? Means a minority, every game has them. Yes it's EA but that doesn't give the excuse to neglect the community - who without them the game itself and the company behind it would be nothing.Īll these people who bought the game and can't log in, yet there are countless people who can. Originally posted by Athena:So your saying all these countless people who bought the game and have not been able to log in once since the game are not owed any communication? They can however announce changes they are going to do like ARK has done in the past, but drop the patch randomly as, well, ARK has done in the past. However, calling out "Patch in 24 hours!" is not possible in such an early state of development. This all irons out in the long run and will eventually make the game more accessible and playable in the future. ![]() The trade off to this is, new content, but broken features. Which means, the game is being built from underneath your feet and is subject to change at anytime and, with the game being so early in development, you can expect the patches to come out relatively quickly and as such, will have more bugs than fixes most of the time. Instead, they could say "Patch coming soon." However, they do not have to do this because of that lovely title known as Early access. So, announcing things like this is actually a bad thing. When they decide on a patch, there is no ETA, infact, when they decide on that, it is when things get sloppy. Ok, I am going to assume you're new to the EA field and or game development in general. Nothing changed yet, the community had to find workarounds and these only worked for a few people.īased on the fact they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up last patch and so many kicked off about the lack of (none existent) communication regarding the issue you think they would communicate better now This is still happening now, and so far there has only been one post from a DEV - 24 hours after the patch was released and caused these issues. Last patch few days back created an issue where a large portion of the player base could no longer get into the game don't be an idiotĬommunication on the other hand is terrible Originally posted by Athena:No ofc patching is not a bad thing. ![]()
